Artichokes

Artichokes- I've always been fascinated with this edible flower, but until last night too intimidated to grab and cook it up (full disclosure- my husband wound up doing the cooking). It turned out pretty easy to steam in our Ninja, and was delicious! We used the recipe from Tosca Reno's Eat Clean Cookbook, but there are many great recipes out there. I encourage you to give artichokes a try, your liver will thank you.
