Restorative Prayer (10 Minute)
No time? Skipping today's time of prayer is not the answer. This short ten minute session in the restorative yoga pose "Legs Up the Wall" guides you through prayer with prompts for worship, confession, thanksgiving, and requests of the heart. Not only will you be setting aside much needed time in prayer, but you'll benefit from this amazing restorative pose that reduces swelling in the legs, alleviates stress, brings blood flow to the upper extremities assisting in memory & concentration, assists the lymphatic system, assists in the release of lactic acid, provides a gentle stretch to the hamstrings, and can help see headaches. Intended for use with the Detours Through Matthew Bible study, but may be used for your own time of prayer.
Prayer & Pose Options:
• 50 minute full yoga session with prayer prompts
• 20 minute Prayer at the Chair (Chair Yoga with prayer prompts)
• 10 minute Restorative Prayer. (Legs up the Wall with prayer prompts *this download)
